If you are getting to maps as a totally new player, it’s hard for you to farm PoE Currency in Path of Exile, you will need to have a lot of tries to find the right way to farming money in this game, which will take so much time, so igvault would tell you how to make money in PoE with the highest efficiency.
Play the Game
The more you play, the more currency you have. It’s a simple fact and we can’t stress that point enough. Wraeclast may be a treacherous place to traverse, with danger lurking in practically every nook and cranny, but that doesn’t mean that treasures are scarce! In fact, it’s quite the opposite! The more dangers you face, the more adventurous you are, the more you will be rewarded with precious currency and even PoE uniques! Now isn’t that neat? The good ol’ folks over at Grinding Gear Games designed PoE in such a way that simply playing it rewards players with lots of goodies!
Glacier, which is available in almost every expansion of Poe, you can map a ton of Poe currency by properly abusing the league mechanic.
With T2 Glacier, you can get the crazy high monolith spawn rate and improve your map rate, that is, you can farm faster than others.
Get high atlas completion and some t2-ts maps with the glacier, you are allowed to finish more challenges and craft more orbs, even some rare ones.
What’s more, you can also buy some orbs like Chaos and Exalted Orbs as an investment, since many players want these in-game items, by them these in your hands must be sold at high prices.
To do this method, you need a bit more than average knowledge about item value and which mods are desirable, but it’s possible to do it with simple items as well.
Buy rare items with 1 prefix or 1 suffix open and no crafted mod on them. If you find a ring with 65 life, 2 resistance mods, and mana mod. The ring has the open suffix – it means you could craft say Strength or Dexterity or even more resistance on that ring. After you craft the mod on the ring and relist it on the Trade site with a higher price, now it will potentially show up on more specific searches that it didn’t before.
It is probably the easiest way to make currency if you have the experience. You are going to play the poe trade and wait for people to sell items much lower than its real price. For example, hunter tailwind boots are worth two exalted orb, but if somebody who doesn’t know its real value sells them for 10 chaos, then you can snipe and sell boots for the actual price and make a profit. If you are interested in flipping, you need to have the knowledge of items, to know the game and what stats are good, and do a lot of searches, then play the poe trade, snipe items, and sell them for the actual price.
If you want make a little extra with trading, you can also put for sale a whole bunch of assorted “normal” gems with a highly undercut price of 2 jeweller’s or so. A good portion of them sell like you wouldn’t believe.
Picking up loot wantonly may seem like a good idea at first. But as you progress further along the game, you’ll soon realize that it’s not the most efficient way to do it. By setting your loot filter to your preferences you can eliminate the less valuable ones and make room for the profitable ones in your inventory. We’re not going to coach you in this regard as it’s really a case to case basis that depends on player preferences. But we are going to assert the importance of loot filtering as it saves precious time and effort! We leave the rest wholly up to you.
